Wylye

More pics from Wylye.
Still not happy about how images are loaded in and where the end up.
But the whole lot can be seen on the salisbury u3a web site found on http://www.salisburyu3a.org.uk/VillageVisits/Wylye/index.html

These pics were taken on 1st March in the village of Wylye [pron. why-lee]. A river of the same name passes through. There were once 17 water mills on it. Now there are none. Green energy going to waste. A 2 foot drop would make 12 to 15 horse power [about 11,190 watts not much but free]

This pic is Rodney Carpenters models of places in the village.

Then we see 2 U3A members arriving by the church

Looking down the high street

And here is our car by a flint patterned cottage.

British Wildlife Exhibition

Yesterday we went to this exhibition in the company of Stan and Jean Stubbs, photographic friends of ours. It was at Moors Valley Country park. It rained when we got there and did not stop until late in the evening.

The photos were very good and we enjoyed seeing the best wildlife photos in the world. There are some quite incredible shots.

I have not got the hang of this Blogging system. The photos are in the wrong place.

Anyway this may be a better way of letting you see my pictures than emailing them. Time will tell.
