These photographs were processed in Photoshop to be light and airy to emphasise the wide open spaces of the beaches of the Isle of Harris. The exception is the church at Blythburgh, Suffolk.

The Glass Engraver

The Dispenser

The Leather Worker

These three photographs were taken in places like Ironbridge or the Black Country Museums where folk act the workers of the past.
They have all been processed in Photoshop to a sketch form using filters such as graphite pen and poster edges. Some colour has been brought back from underlying layers.

Home

This is a pic that I took from across the road. I liked the woman with the push chair looking jealously towards our house. The grounds extend from the extreme left to the ox-eye daisies on the right and to the summerhouse peeping out on the left of the house. The trees behind are merely a backdrop and also prevent the sun from shining on the summerhouse. The path coming in from the left down which the woman and child have just traversed goes into the woodland. The path splits in several ways one of which goes round to the right and up behind our house.

Snow in April

This morning at about 7 am snow began to fall and soon built up quite a layer. Later i went out to buy a paper and took these two flower studies. There was a sad look to the flowers.

Meal Out

We had a meal out with our wee gang. Here I illustrate the first course viz goats cheese on ciabatta dealt with in 2 ways. The jig saw puzzle version is specially for Joan.

Here is the gang ready to order and below that two interpretations of this picture.

Below this I have added a small video of the chattering classes.
