Peziza (Sarcoscypha) coccinea

Found in the woods on the Harnham Slope on 30 Dec 2016 on decaying branch near the newest view clearing below the steps from Bishop's Drive.

 

A Misty Morning gives an eerie feeling to the ivy clad trees.
