Inside Devizes Museum

We went the Moors Valley country park near Verwood today to see the British Wildlife Photographic exhibition. Here we are with Stan and Jean Stubbs and Sheila. All these were handheld taken at 400ISO.
We came here to the 2007 Exhibition and this was on my first Blog [see 7 March 2007]

Salisbury Cathedral

Taken in Jan 2009 whilst the Angel was still flying. This image has a reflection in the new font. Water is pouring from spouts at each 'corner'. The verticals have been corrected and then the photo turned into a sketch.

Brrr!

Today we have had a little snow. Naturally the country has ground to a halt. I took this pic early this morning, The temperature was still below zero. It only reached plus one. The snow kept falling through the day and we are questioning whether we should go out tonight to the camera club. We should be having Army Combat Photographers coming. They will not wimp out of course. So we have to go.

Well we did go and the Army Combat Photographers were a great team. 24 members turned up.

These photographs were processed in Photoshop to be light and airy to emphasise the wide open spaces of the beaches of the Isle of Harris. The exception is the church at Blythburgh, Suffolk.

These three photographs were taken in places like Ironbridge or the Black Country Museums where folk act the workers of the past.
They have all been processed in Photoshop to a sketch form using filters such as graphite pen and poster edges. Some colour has been brought back from underlying layers.
